SYVIC Opens Public Sign-Up for U.S. Civic-Tech Initiative Exploring AI and Public Representation
Las Vegas–based SYVIC invites Americans to share what is working, what is not, and what they want government to do differently — as the initiative explores whether AI can help people be heard at scale.
SYVIC, a U.S. civic-technology initiative based in Las Vegas, Nevada, has opened public sign-up at SYVIC.ai, inviting Americans to share their views on what is working in their lives, what is not, and what they would like to see government do differently.
The initiative begins with a simple premise: it should listen to people before developing solutions intended to serve them. Registered Americans can submit thoughts and priorities through SYVIC.ai. Submissions will help identify areas of agreement, disagreement, and the issues that matter most to participants. Direct conversations with the SYVIC system are expected to become available during a later phase.
SYVIC is not a political party, campaign, or candidate. It does not endorse candidates, instruct voters, or present a predetermined political platform. Instead, it explores whether artificial intelligence could provide a new way for large numbers of people to communicate their views and priorities. Its stated goal is simple: Work Less. Live Better.
What people are saying
"The reason I joined the SYVIC movement is simple: it starts by listening. I don't want another politician telling me what I should want. I want to tell SYVIC what matters to me — and I believe everyone else should be able to do the same."
— Alan Levy, founder of AI agent platform Eavesdrop and early SYVIC supporter"AI gives us the ability to listen at a scale that wasn't possible before. A politician can't personally listen to a million people. AI can."
— Deon Schwabsky, founder of NewsGPT and early SYVIC supporterThe initiative explores whether AI can listen simultaneously to large numbers of people, organize their input, identify common concerns and differences, and provide a clearer picture of what people need from government. SYVIC openly acknowledges the significant questions this raises — around control, how fairness is evaluated, independent auditing, data protection, and accountability — and it welcomes disagreement, actively inviting skeptics to take part. It is not intended to replace elected officials or existing democratic institutions.
